The Motherhood Project offers holistic support to mothers through fitness, yoga, education, community events and various other support services. In addition to a safe and appropriate approach to prenatal and postpartum physical movement, The Motherhood Project places a strong emphasis and priority on perinatal mental health. Through community, connection and support, The Motherhood Project aims to minimize the isolation often experienced during this vulnerable time in a mothers life while also providing a safe space to tackle the complicated and often difficult issues that arise. A healthy, informed, educated and empowered pregnancy, 4th trimester and beyond are at the heart of TMP and what they are bringing to our community.
Jen Delmaire, also seen in her roles as trainer and Operations Manager at Thrive, is the Founder of The Motherhood Project. She is a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist, Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor and mother of 3. She has a background in Psychology and holds certifications in additional sub specialties including trauma informed leadership, PPD/PPA support skills and group facilitation and an in progress certification as a pregnancy and infant loss support person.
In addition, The Motherhood Project is made up of a team of trainers who are all certified specialists in the field of perinatal fitness, experienced mothers and advocates of maternal maternal health-mind, body and spirit.
